On the day of World Soil Day, students run a programme to stop soil erosion and save our future. A significant contributor to soil deterioration and a serious global issue for sustainability and food security is the loss of soil nutrients. Every year on December 5, World Soil Day (WSD) is observed to draw attention to the value of healthy soil and to promote the sustainable management of soil resources.
